Norbert "Norbi" Haberbusch
Norbi is the owner and master carpenter of Old World Carpentry - his expertise is in all areas of carpentry, but currently focusing strictly on hardwood floors where his passion lies in the refinishing, repairing and installation of hardwood floors. Norbi has been quoted as, "great carpenter very meticulous", "expert on hardwood flooring". Norbi is on site and oversees every project - he also does estimates himself to give the customer the most accurate estimate possible, and answer any questions. He also takes the time to listen to all concerns, and works with the clients closely to have the floor of their dreams.
Norbi finished all his formal schooling and training in Baja, Hungary. He has been a carpenter for over 17 years in both the US and Hungary.

Nora Haberbusch
Nora is also an owner of Old World Carpentry. Nora is the behind the scenes person, and the one who you would most likely talk to if you if you telephoned for an estimate. Nora does all marketing, advertising, graphics design, research, and much more.
Nora has a BA from Kent State University in Art History and Textiles. She is currently finishing her MBA in Marketing and Business. She not only works along side Norbi but also assists in the running of her family's alpaca apparel and craft store.
Norbi and Nora have been married since 2004 and reside in Akron, Ohio with their two toy poodles Attila and Daisy. They also own an alpaca, and are active participants at the family's alpaca farm, Custer's Alpacas, which is located in Atwater, Ohio.

We feel that to maintain a successful business and happy clients is to be available at all times. We don't turn our phones off, even at 11pm, so please feel free to contact us if we do not answer we'll contact you as soon as we get the message.
Every so often we do go out of town to visit family (Norbi's family is from Hungary but we do have our cell phones with us and we keep in contact with the states daily) and we may even have time to sneak in a vacation when we aren't visiting family. We either check our email daily, check our phones daily, or have our phones monitored by a live operator to take messages.
